Pearl Bonner’s family would like to thank everyone that made a donation to Farleigh Hospice after Pearl’s death in August 2019

Donations through pearl-bonner.muchloved.com and to T Pennack, Funeral Directors totalled £2,211 and a further £250 through Facebook donation link.   

A further £4,615  to September 2022 has been donated so far through the Quest for Pearl 

Treasure Hunt for Pearl Necklace gift pack raised a further £545

The Quest Progress

The Quest for Pearl was completed Successfully and the Pearl on a silver necklace donated by Cornwall Gold has been handed over to Farleigh Hospice

January 2020

  1. A Pearl (Gemstone) item of Jewellery being donated by Cornwall Gold FOC
  2. Fuel supplied for both Bluebell and support vehicle (FOC) by Wedge Group
  3. Essex Austin Seven Club providing escort through Essex section
  4. Dorset Austin Seven Club providing escort through Dorset section
  5. Devon Austin Seven Club providing escort through Devon section
  6. Cornwall Austin Seven Club providing escort through Cornwall section

February 2020

  1. Donation of £250 from The Felsted Panto which they raised from their raffles
  2. Donations this month have taken total to over £1,100

  1. Seaking sponsors to have an A5 logo of their company on the side of cars
  2. Quest regretfully had to be postponed due to Covid pandemic

  3. Final arrangements being put in place ready to start the Quest
  4. 12th April Trevor was interviewed live on Caroline Community Radio
  5. 10 days to go and donations now at £2,090 (Total to Farleigh in Pearl’s name £4,552)
  6. 24th The start of The Quest for Pearl from Farleigh Hospice and after being visited and interviewed by BBC Essex Quest we set off on the fist leg of our journey followed by other Austins from the Essex Austin Seven Club
  7. 25th Started our second leg from Petersfield to Honiton escorted through the New Forest by the Dorset Austin Seven Club
  8. 26th Started third leg from Honiton to Quintrell Downs escorted through Devon by the Devon Austin Seven Club
  9. 27th The Cornwall Austin Seven Club arrived at our hotel to escort us on the last leg to Cornwall Gold to collect the Pearl necklace
  10. 28th Started our trip home to Essex
  11. 30th Escorted by the Essex Austin Seven Club to Farleigh Hospice to present the Pearl necklace and signed copy of Elkie Brooks Pearls album for them to auction at a later date

May 2022

  1. 1st Trevor intervied on BBC Essex Quest
  2. Quest donations to date £4,381.25 (Total now raised for Farleigh Hospice in Pearl’s name £6,747.75)

September 2022

  1. Quest donations to date £4,615.15

The Quest for Pearl was promoted on the local radio station, Chelmsford Community Radio by presenter Josh Holmes-Bright

December 2022

  1. Total raised from Treasure Hunt for Necklace gift pack was £545
  2. Overall total for Trevor’s Quest for Pearl £5160.15
